My artwork is a highland cow which are furry cows. I was going to make the cow be christmas theme with the scarf and make the background with snow but I stuck with pencil so I didn't do that. But I did keep the scarf because I had already had it done when I changed my mind. I created my artwork by sticking with an animal theme and I wanted to incorporate christmas in it because it's almost christmas. The media I used was pencil and water with a white canvas. My big idea for this artwork was to try and new media with pencil and canvas and to make the artwork noticeable with the light and dark values. My goal for this artwork was to see if pencil and canvas work good together and I really think it turned out better than I thought it would have. Thoughts on my artwork are that I think it turned out and I'm really happy that the media I used actually worked and worked better than I thought it would have.

I've decided to stick with pen and ink artworks for my theme. For my artwork I wanted to draw and animal and but make it christmas theme. I sketched out on a canvas and just have started to go more in depth with it but I still have more to cover. Two studio habits I have been working on are "Envision" and "Express"
I plan on making a artwork with acrylic paint and a canvas board. I want to incorporate animals in all of my artworks that I plan on doing for a theme. For this artwork I either want to make a christmas cow painting or christmas baby cubs. I thought of this by looking at other artworks and trying to find something that I can give away for a christmas present.
I don't recognize any of these artist but I do still think their famous because these artworks are really good. I think the artworks are very similar and I think the artist didn't copying the original one but did get ideas from it. I think the second artwork is good theft because it's not completely copying the artwork and the image is showing something that needs to be done.
This art is different from other observational artwork because usually it's an object you are looking at or a short period of time at looking at something or someone. I noticed the artist observed the people and had ideas of what they might do or not do. If I did a "stakeout" I would put money out in a very public place and a not so very public place and see who would take the money first. But I would think the very public place might take it because of more people but at the same time people might not because they don't want to get caught.
I have been working on a mushroom pen and ink drawing with using the studio habits "Stretch And Explore" and "Understand Art Worlds". "People Watching" by-Holly Stapleton
This artwork seems to look like they used acrylic paint for their material. This work shows a person holding up a mirror and multiple reflections of the same picture. This work is abstract but realistic at the same time. The colors the artist used are very subtle light colors. I think this artwork is successful because it's interesting to look at and also wonder about. |
